It is a Southern Italian tradition to have a feast of seven fishes on Christmas Eve. The origin of the tradition is debated, but most likely the seven fishes represent the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. My family greatly looks forward to our fish feast and I wanted to share with you seven terrific fish recipes that you might like to share with your family too. Weekly Menu Plan:
Sunday: Laska: Coconut Shrimp Chicken Soup Meatless Monday: Slow Cooker Lentil Curry with Brown Basmati Rice
Tuesday: Sautéed Turkey Breasts with Grilled Apples and White Wine over Mashed Potatoes.
Wednesday: Trader Joe's Sambal Matah Sauce over Cod with White Rice
Thursday: Roasted Peppers, Garlic, Rosemary, Chickpeas over Pasta
Friday: Chicken Stir-Fry with Leftover Vegetables and Brown Rice
Saturday: Pork Patties on Brioche with Remoulade Sauce and Pickled Green Tomatoes
